Welcome to St. John
People matter to Jesus and so you will be welcomed here to experience an enthusiastic church family, centered in the transforming love of God in Christ's cross and resurrection.
Come with your struggles, doubts, fears, hurts, and messy past to share the power of God's mercy and forgiveness. We welcome all without exception, no matter where you are on life's journey.
We celebrate the new life we have in our Lord through Spirited worship, discipleship and growth, friendship, fellowship and fun, witness and serving.
We affirm the unchanging, historic truths of the Christian faith (including the Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed as well as our UCC Statement of Faith), value the insights of the Protestant Reformers, and apply God's Word (the Good News of Jesus Christ) to the realities of our life and world today.
We are a congregation with a broad commitment to serve those in need in our community and world and actively support many human care and evangelistic ministry organizations.

This Sunday's Worship December 15, 2019
These Advent Sundays serve as a wonderful time of preparation and reflection preparing for Christ's Coming, his Advent, including his Advent INTO OUR LIVES.
Preparing for our Lord is about "MAKING A PATH FOR GOD" --- enjoying the blessing of God's loving presence and peace without any obstacles. The message (homily / sermon) will be HIS WAY IS THE HIGHWAY. The path we chose will not leave us afraid or alone, because our Lord Jesus will go with us.
Come and be blessed as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ our Advent Lord who comes to us even today in Word and Sacrament.
